Silly Tilly has been involved in circus arts both as a performer and tutor part time since 1989. She has performed and led workshops both at home and throughout Europe. She is also a qualified secondary school teacher with several years classroom experience. In 2002 she led a research programme into the educational benefits of regular juggling. (Ask her about it, Tilly remains excited by the results).
 

In 2002 Tilly gave up her sensible job as a principal teacher and began performing full time. This was the best decision she ever made! Suddenly Tilly was presented with hundreds of new opportunities. These included performing in nightclubs and pubs and the chance to travel further afield.
 

Tilly is based in Strangford, County Down.
